Né à Port Harcourt au Nigeria, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu, alias Burna Boy, s’est rapidement imposé comme la figure majeure de l’afrobeats contemporain. Après ses débuts en 2010 et son premier album “L.I.F.E” (2013), il enchaîne les succès avec “African Giant” (2019) qui décroche une nomination aux Grammy et “Twice as Tall” (2020), récompensé par le Grammy du Best Global Music Album. Lauréat de multiples distinctions internationales c’est aussi un homme de cœur, qui n’hésite pas à mettre sa nouvelle notoriété au service de son pays natal par le biais de son partenariat mondial avec ON Running et son engagement philanthropique.
